Grand Junction Things
The Grand Junction Things arrived in the league in 1934 making them at the time the furthest West team in the league. It was speculation at one time that the city of Grand Junction from up above, possibly from space, looked like a landing circle for extraterrestrials. Several locals claimed they have seen strange flying vessels that can't be explained. Most of this stayed in Grand Junction as myth and fun stories to tell around a campfire. The league loved the stories and characters and decided to set up camp in Colorado. Enter the Grand Junction Things. Settled in a cul-de-sac surrounded by the Gunnison River on three sides of the hills overlooking the valley of Grand Junction, the Things play at the Landing Circle Space Rock Arena.
