The Dodge City Ghosts appeared in the span of 1933-1934. Between these years, several Midwest teams formed. The Peoria Bobcats of Illinois, Tupleo Muroiders of Mississippi, Laredo Flags of Texas and as far west as Colorado with the Grand Junction Things. Dodge City is famous for its rich history of outlaws and gunslingers. Many of them unfortunately saw a well known landmark called the Hanging Tree. Needless to say, there's probably a lot of wandering spirits in Dodge City. Wyatt Earp, being one in particular. The Ghosts play in the Suburban Ghost Town Sprawl Park off the Wyatt Earp highway. The Stadium is surrounded by historical landmark ghost town buildings that continue to this day to watch over the park.
